Computer Diagnosis & Repair - $50.00 (Drop-off Service)

Sometimes your computer just refuses to operate or no longer works like it should. We will check out your computer and tell you what is wrong with it. We can repair your computer and return it back to working order. If we can not fix your computer, our "No Hassles Guarantee*" saves you from having to pay for a computer that can't be repaired (unlike most other services!). We do not charge you if we don't fix your problem!  

On-site service is not offered. If you choose to have us repair your computer, we will give you prices on replacement parts and install them for you. Service includes 1-hour of Labor for the installation of one hardware device or software upgrade/install.

Additional labor hours bill at $40.00 per hour, 1/4 Hour increments.

A $25.00 Diagnosis fee will apply if computer is repairable but customer opts to not have it serviced after diagnosed. (No diagnosis fee if computer is not repairable by us.)

PLEASE NOTE:  We do NOT fix or diagnose board level failures.  We will check your hard drive(s), CD/DVD ROM drive(s), RAM, PC Cards, Modem, etc to verify their functional status. If the problem is not found there, we will inform you of that and return your hardware.  There is no charge for this.   In most cases, the cost to diagnose and repair a problem on the Motherboard far exceeds what most people are willing to pay for a computer that is no longer in warranty.

*No Hassles Guarantee applies to any repair request we deem to be not repairable. You will not be charged for the repair if we can not fix it or, the repair in our estimation, would exceed the value of the computer.

Operating System Update - $55.00 (Drop-off Service)

The operating system on your computer (Windows) is always being updated to correct errors and security vulnerabilities. Usually these updates are released on the second Tuesday of the month by Microsoft but can happen at any time. Many times, exploits are released by hackers and virus writers within days or hours of these releases (Zero-Day Exploits). You need to protect yourself.

Our service includes:

	Install All latest patches and service packs
	Update most major add-on services (Java, Window media, Real Player, Quick Time)
	Remove unwanted software and services
	Virus and Spy-ware pre-scan. (We'll alert you if your computer is infected. Service does NOT include removal of virus and spyware)
	Show you how to automate or manually update in the future

Flat Rate Fee.
Additional charges may apply for on-site service. Broadband Internet service required for on-site service.

Note: Computers that have viruses and/or Spyware may not be able to be updated until cleaned. If computer is heavily infected with viruses and/or spyware you will be given the option to switch to our Electronic Pest Removal service. 

Operating System Full Rebuild - $100.00 (Drop-off Service)

Sometimes people like to start over with their computer. Restore it to the same way it was when they bought the computer. This is a major restoration, removing all files and programs from the computer. Sometimes this is also the only way to ensure that your computer is totally clean and free of viruses and spyware. Remember, this option deletes all files on the computer. Your saved files and information will all be deleted.

Our service includes:

	Re-Format Hard Drive (Deletes all data and saved files)
	Re-Install Operating system and programs  from your original Disks
	Install All latest patches and service packs
	Remove unwanted software and services

Flat Rate Fee.
Residential On-site service is not offered.
Note: You must provide the original LICENSED factory restoration disks and license numbers (if not already attached to the computer's case).

All services normally have a 48 Hour turn-around time.  All prices listed above are for Drop-Off service.  On-Site service for our Full Operating System Rebuild is not offered for residential customers, you must drop off the unit.  Cable Modem customers and some other Broadband services will not be re-installed during a system restoration and will need to be installed by the customer.  Midnight Websites & Computer Solutions is not responsible for restoration of Broadband or Dial-up service settings.  You may need to contact your ISP to restore your computer's internet connection.
