How to know if you are infected:  Does your computer run much slower then it used to? Do advertisements pop-up on your screen all the time?  Do you get unexpected results when you browse the internet (Porn Sites or advertising sites when you tried to go somewhere else).  These are all signs that you may be infected. 

We will clean your computer or laptop and update the operating system as recommended by Microsoft. We will show you how to protect yourself from future infections and can optionally install software to assist in making it much more difficult to be infected again.

 

Electronic Pest Removal Service - $65.00 (Drop-off Service)

We will use the latest detection methods to search your computer for all forms of known computer viruses, spyware, loggers, trojans, worms, root-kits and other pests.  We will remove these pests from your computer, restoring it to a safe and secure system. 

Our service is a flat fee.  Additional charges may apply for on-site service.  We charge less then half what most of the national chains charge because we don't have the overhead they do.  We will also update the Windows 2000/XP and Vista 32bit Operating System with the latest updates from Microsoft to help in preventing future infections at no additional charge.

In addition to the above services, you can optionally have us do any of the following services at an additional charge.

	Install and configure customer provided anti-virus or anti-spyware software and configure.  $6.00 each
	Install and configure Grisoft Anti-virus, Anti-Spyware or Firewall purchased from Midnight Websites & Computer Solutions.  FREE plus 10% discount on Software
	Install and configure customer supplied Software Firewall $6.00
	Personal training to use Anti-virus, Anti-Spyware and Firewall software.  $15.00/hr (one hour minimum training charge)

PLEASE NOTICE:

The problem with Virus, Trojan and Root-kit infections nowadays is, it causes a lot of damage. Even if we clean the malware off your system, we can't guarantee that your system will be clean afterwards, because these infections/bundles leave a lot of spawn behind that most scanners won't even recognize and the logs won't show. We also can't guarantee we can repair all the damage it caused... Even after cleaning the malware, you can still get errors afterwards because of the damage. Solving this damage is not always possible since it will be searching for a needle in a haystack to find the right cause and solution. We will clean your system up the best that is possible, but keep in mind that we can't solve ALL problems this malware already caused.  If your system is heavily infected, the ONLY real cure is to reformat the Hard Drive(s) and re-install everything from scratch.  This rebuilding process is not part of the fee associated with this service, it is a separate charge.  Your best bet is to keep your system clean and protected, and always make backups of your important files.

We strongly recommend that you do the following immediately upon return of your computer form being cleaned by us. From a clean computer, change all your online passwords-- for email, for banks, eBay, forums etc.... Do not change passwords or do any transactions while using the infected computer (before it has been cleaned) because the attacker may get the new passwords and transaction information.  Backup your most important data immediately and store it in a safe place.  If your computer was heavily infected, we highly recommend that you have the system re-installed.  We highly recommend that you run a full compliment of Firewall, Virus, Spyware, Root-Kit and SPAM filtering software that is a professional version.  Midnight Websites Recommends the new AVG Internet Security Package that contains all these. We also recommend Spybot Search and Destroy Version 1.5.2 or later as it has very good root-kit detection abilities and can block harmful sites.

To properly service your computer or laptop we need a minimum of the following items.  Please be sure to have these items available before our service technician comes for on-site service or if you drop off your computer for service:

	AC Power Cord
	CD-ROM or DVD-ROM Drive Installed and Working
	Your computer's System Disks (that came with the computer)
	Administrator's Login and Password
	Review and Sign our Terms Of Service Agreement. A downloadable copy in PDF format is available here.
	For On-Site Service, an Adult over the age of 18 must be present at all times.
